Light therapy

For those cold winter nights

Nothing better than some hot corn chowder soup with bacon for those cold Arizona nights. Okay so it's not really cold here compared to other parts of the country but we did get near freezing the past few nights. :) Made this recipe from the latest issue of Real Simple and even managed to use our cast iron dutch oven again too.

I'm 8 months old now!

My goal is to be chasing the cats before I'm 9 months olds.

Katchakid not spiderman

Now that Lauren is almost mobile, she gets on all fours and rocks back and forth, we decided to get a pool net so that she can't fall in. The net is by Katchakid and only takes about 10 mins to take on and off.

Orange juice anyone?

Our orange tree is finally ready to be picked. You'd think this tree was planted last year based on the size but unfortunately we've had this tree for 8 years now and it is still like 2 feet tall. When we redo our front landscaping, we might have to put this tree out of its misery.

First day at school

Lauren's first day at daycare. Overall everything went smoothly. She napped, ate, played, napped again, and ate some more. She didn't even seem to miss us. Dad's first day back at work was pretty much like Lauren's. :)

Vegas showgirls

You can see me here with my cousin Caroline. I just love her. She promised me next year that she'll show me to how to do the perfect camera smile.

I asked Santa for Pirates 3. There's plenty of time for me to learn how to spell. All the kids at daycare will be talking about Pirates 3.
